The Virgola series are fictional mecha in the Super Robot Wars series, They are used by the Glory Star team consisting of Denzel Hammer, Toby Watson and Setsuko Ohara.

Technical and Historical[]
A prototype next generation mass production unit belonging to the Earth Federation Tactical Experiments Unit "Glory Star", it is an all around flexible unit that can be used by veteran and rookie alike without problems, it carries the Gunnery Carver, a multipurpose weapon that has a variety of weapons for different situations, 3 of which are the Jack Carver a large knife like blade, the Barley Scythe a large beam scythe and the devastating Ray Stray Turret, the machine was also equipped with a handheld beam pistol. 3 Units were developed for testing, each with slightly different setting for the Gunnery Carver, Unit 3 used the Jack Carver, Unit 2 used the Barley Scythe and the Unit 1 used the Ray Stray Turret. After Unit 3s destruction at the hands of Asakim Dowen its data is inputted into Unit 1s Gunnery Carver allowing it to use the Jack Carver, later after Unit 2 and 1 were destroyed by Asakim Dowen and his Shurouga Unit 2 parts were used to repair Unit 1 and it gains the Barley Scythe. After meeting Dr. Zier (Ji Edel Baernel) the Virgola Kai is upgraded with the Variable-Wing Flight System allowing it to fly, but the Gunnery Carver malfunctioned and the unit was left with only the Ray Pistol as its weapon.
After Asakim dropped his Toby disguise he pushed Setsuko into further despair causing the Sphere, Kanashimi no Otome, to fully awaken and transform the Gunnery Carver into the Nautilus Carver. It gave the machine a immense boost in power and with it defeated Asakim in one shot, however after being forced to fight alternate versions of her team and further unlocking the power of her Sphere, Setsuko began to feel the effects of it, she was beginning to losing her senses. Setsuko would use this machine till the end of the battle with the alien forces, Titans and eventually Ji Edel Baernal. Setsuko would also aid Zexis against the forces of Insalam, Aim Liard and Jigenshou Gaiou.
During the events of 3rd Super Robot Wars Z Rengoku-hen, Virgola Glory will be upgraded by Sidereal engineers into the Vigola Glory S, which boasts higher mobility and an improved Gunnery Carver upgraded with Sidereal technology to boost the power of its Sphere.

- Helve Strike:
One of the basic weapons of the Virgola's Gunnery Carver, The Virgola flies up and brings the weapon down on the target like a hammer.
- Stray Turret:
One of the basic weapons of the Virgola's Gunnery Carver, fires 2 solid rounds.
- Jack Carver:
A solid blade stored within the Gunnery Carver.
- Barley Scythe:
A large beam scythe that's emitted from a port on the bottom of the Gunnery Carver's barrel.
- Ray Stray Turret:
A powerful beam weapon that's fired from a barrel inside the Gunnery Carver, the casing of the weapon opens up when in use.

- Buoy Stray Turret:
One of the basic weapons of the Virgola Glory's Nautilus Carver, it fires 3 spinning shots.
- Hi-Stray Turret:
The Virgola Glory fires a powerful shot that hits all targets straight out in front of it.
- Nautilus Carver:
A combination move that combines the Barley Scythe and Jack Carver, first Setsuko rams the enemy with the back of the Nautilus Carver (this part is ommited in Z2-2) then forms a massive beam blade weapon and slashes the target twice, Virgola Glory then summons the Jack Carver and stabs the target then cutting them in half.
- The Glory Star:
Virgola Glory's ultimate weapon, channeling the power of the Sphere to its limit Virgola Glory fires a massive beam that annihilates what ever it hits.
